
Meovv’s ‘HANDS UP’ Scores 2nd Win on ‘M Countdown’ + New Album ‘My Eyes Open Vvide’ Unveiled
Meovv is making waves in the K-Pop scene! Fresh off their second win for "HANDS UP" on 'M Countdown,' the rising rookie group is also celebrating the release of their first EP, "My Eyes Open Vvide." This is a significant moment for the group, showcasing their growth and unique musical identity.

On the May 15th episode of 'M Countdown,' Meovv's "HANDS UP" faced tough competition from TXT's "Love Language." However, Meovv ultimately clinched the victory with an impressive 7,075 points. The win marked their second music show trophy, solidifying their rising popularity. The show also featured performances from other prominent acts like BOYNEXTDOOR, TWS, NEXZ, and more, showcasing the diverse talent within the K-Pop landscape.
But the success doesn't stop there. Meovv recently unveiled their first EP, "My Eyes Open Vvide," accompanied by a media showcase in Seoul. The album features six tracks, including their debut song, "Meow," as well as previously released songs like "Toxic" and the triumphant "HANDS UP."

The lead single, "Drop Top," encapsulates Meovv's unique perspective on the world. Described as a pop song with rock influences, it begins with a calm tone before exploding into energetic rhythms. Gawon, who helped write the lyrics, shared that "Drop Top" was the first track they ever recorded as trainees, making it a significant piece of their journey.
