Killswitch Engage Announces Massive 2025 European Tour: A Metalcore Onslaught

Get ready, Europe! Killswitch Engage, the titans of metalcore, are set to unleash a monumental tour across the continent and the UK in 2025. After a six-year absence from headlining European stages, the band promises an unforgettable experience packed with fan favorites, deep cuts, and fresh tracks from their latest album, "This Consequence." But what makes this tour truly special? It's the insane lineup!

Killswitch Engage European Tour 2025

For the UK and Ireland leg, Killswitch Engage will be joined by the legendary Hatebreed, alongside Fit For An Autopsy and Decapitated. Mainland Europe will experience a slightly different but equally devastating combination, with Fit For An Autopsy, Decapitated, and Employed To Serve rounding out the bill.

"I am very eager to get to share the stage with top tier bands like Decapitated, Hatebreed, Fit For An Autopsy, and Employed To Serve!" exclaims frontman Jesse Leach. "This is a monster of a line up and an opportunity to play some of these new songs as well as a solid mix from our catalogue! Headlining over in Europe and the U.K. is well overdue as it's been about six years since we last were able to do this! I am certain this will be a tour that will absolutely turn heads and make for some great memories!"

The tour kicks off in Lisbon, Portugal, and culminates in Helsinki, Finland, spanning from September to December 2025. A highlight will undoubtedly be their stop at London's OVO Arena Wembley, promising a night of pure metal mayhem.

Killswitch Engage UK Tour 2025

This tour is not just a celebration of Killswitch Engage's 25-year career; it's also an opportunity to witness the band at their creative peak. Their latest album, "This Consequence", released in February 2025, has been met with widespread acclaim. Tracks like "Forever Aligned" and "I Believe" have already become fan favorites, with the latter racking up over a million views on YouTube. The band's commitment to pushing boundaries and delivering a fresh, energetic sound shines through on this record.

"Making this record lit a fire under my ass and made me rethink everything," Leach admits. "It had to be next level. It had to be different enough for people to really recognize we're putting forth an effort - or what's the point of doing this? There was no repeating ourselves. It was very carefully planned out and passionately written. It sounds like Killswitch, yet there's also a fresh spirit to it."

Tickets and VIP packages go on general sale on Friday, May 9th. Metalheads, are you ready for this extreme lineup and Killswitch Engage's overdue return to Europe and the UK? What songs are you most excited to hear live? Let us know in the comments below!
