Jennifer Lopez Set to Host the 2025 American Music Awards in Las Vegas: A Memorial Day Celebration of Music and Our Veterans
Get ready for a star-studded Memorial Day! The 2025 American Music Awards (AMAs) are set to broadcast live from the dazzling Fontainebleau Las Vegas, promising a night of unforgettable performances and heartfelt tributes. The show, hosted by the iconic Jennifer Lopez, will air live coast to coast on Monday, May 26 at 8:00 p.m. EDT / 5:00 p.m. PDT on CBS and Paramount+.
This year's AMAs are not just about celebrating the year’s biggest musical achievements; they're also dedicated to honoring U.S. troops and veterans. In a landmark partnership, the AMAs are joining forces with the Easy Day Foundation, a Las Vegas-based nonprofit focused on helping veterans transition to civilian life.
A Night of Music and Remembrance
The 51st AMAs installment will feature two special performances and the presentation of an award honoring a marquee talent who actively supports the Veteran community. Inspirational stories from active-duty service members and veterans will also be shared throughout the broadcast.
"Our goal at this year’s American Music Awards is to not only honor the memory of our fallen heroes but to spotlight the ongoing needs of millions of veterans as they reintegrate into civilian life," said Frank Fertitta IV, co-founder of Easy Day Foundation.
Fan Favorites and Top Nominees
Music fans play a crucial role in the AMAs, as it's the world's largest fan-voted award show. This year, Kendrick Lamar leads the nominations with an impressive ten nods. Following closely behind are Post Malone, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, and Shaboozey. Fan voting is now open via VoteAMAs.com and the @AMAs Instagram profile in all award categories.
Setting the Stage in Las Vegas
The AMAs are taking over the BleauLive Theater at Fontainebleau Las Vegas. Emmy Award-winning set designer Andy Walmsley, known for his work on "American Idol" and "Who Wants to be a Millionaire," is designing the sets for the theater, performance stages, and the red carpet.
More Than Just an Award Show
The partnership with Easy Day Foundation will drive fundraising efforts via easyday.org/amas to benefit Veteran service organizations across the country. A portion of ticket sales and audience seating will also be dedicated to benefit the Easy Day Foundation, its partners, and veteran attendees.
The 2025 AMAs promises to be an unforgettable night, celebrating music, honoring our veterans, and supporting vital organizations. What are your predictions for this year's winners? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
