Grinderman’s Raw Sound Resurrected: Seminal Albums to be Reissued

Fans can look forward to eco-conscious black vinyl and Digisleeve CD editions of Grinderman (2007), Grinderman 2 (2010), and Grinderman 2 RMX (2012). Music lovers, rejoice! The official release date is set for July 18th, marking a momentous occasion for fans both old and new.
Formed in 2005, Grinderman served as an outlet for a more visceral and aggressive sound, reminiscent of Cave's earlier post-punk venture, The Birthday Party. The band’s self-titled debut, crafted with producer Nick Launay, quickly gained acclaim and introduced standout tracks like "No Pussy Blues" and "Get It On." This rawness continued to evolve, culminating in the psychedelic explorations of Grinderman 2.
The final album, Grinderman 2 RMX, showcased a diverse range of reinterpretations and collaborations with artists such as Robert Fripp, Josh Homme, Nick Zinner of Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and many more. Their unique sound captivated the music world.
Despite their brief hiatus after disbanding in 2011, Grinderman delighted fans with a reunion performance at the 2013 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, where Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds also graced the stage.
