The 'House of Kong' exhibition, set to open at London’s Copper Box, promises an hour-long deep dive into the band's history, musical innovation, and virtual world. According to the official press release, the exhibition offers fans a “journey through the band’s life of misadventures, musical innovation and ground-breaking virtual ways.” The exhibition opens August 8 and runs through September 3 and is described by bassist Murdoc Niccals as "an exhibition like no other".

Adding to the excitement, Gorillaz will also be performing four exclusive live shows at the Copper Box Arena on August 29, August 30, September 2, and September 3. These performances mark their return to the stage after cancelling their North American tour in 2023 following the release of their acclaimed album, Cracker Island.

Tickets for the 'House of Kong' exhibition are already on sale, with prices starting at £25 ($33.50). Exhibition ticket holders get exclusive presale access to the Copper Box Arena concert tickets. Further details on the live shows, alongside ticketing information, will be revealed soon via the official Gorillaz website.

This milestone celebration comes as frontman Damon Albarn confirmed that a new Gorillaz album is in the works, potentially arriving as early as 2025. Albarn stated, “I’m finishing a new Gorillaz album.” Jamie Hewlett, Albarn's Gorillaz collaborator, confirmed the news. The band's previous album, Cracker Island, achieved significant success, reaching No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and topping the Official U.K. Albums Chart.
