EVERGLOW Leaves YUEHUA Entertainment: What’s Next for the K-Pop Group?

Big news for FOREVERs! EVERGLOW, the dynamic K-Pop group known for their powerful performances and hits like "DUN DUN" and "Adios," is parting ways with their agency, YUEHUA Entertainment. But before panic sets in, let's break down what this means for the future of E:U, Sihyeon, Mia, Onda, Aisha, and Yiren.

On May 13th, YUEHUA Entertainment officially announced the end of their exclusive contracts with EVERGLOW, effective June 2025. The statement expressed well wishes for the members' future endeavors, stating: "After careful discussion with EVERGLOW, we have decided to go our separate ways while wishing the best for each other’s futures... We sincerely cheer on the new beginnings of EVERGLOW."

This announcement understandably sparked concern among fans. Is this the end of EVERGLOW? Thankfully, member Sihyeon quickly addressed these worries during a TikTok Live. "[We're] just leaving the company, you guys," she reassured fans. "Of course .. I still [want to] stay [in the] group. All members [are thinking] the same thing." This confirmation brings a wave of relief – EVERGLOW intends to continue as a group!

Looking back, EVERGLOW debuted in 2019 with the explosive track "Bon Bon Chocolat," quickly establishing themselves in the competitive K-Pop scene. They consistently delivered powerful comebacks and gained a dedicated global following. However, behind the scenes, challenges arose.

In March 2025, Yiren bravely spoke out about payment issues, revealing that the members had not received any income since their debut. "I love performing on stage, but in reality, my income is zero. Since my debut, I have never received any payment – I am essentially a worker earning zero won," she shared with fans on the Bubble platform. Despite these financial struggles, Yiren emphasized her passion for performing and the group's desire to showcase new music and stages to their fans.

The decision to leave YUEHUA Entertainment likely stems from these unresolved issues. While specifics remain undisclosed, the agency's statement suggests a mutual agreement to pursue separate paths. What does this mean for EVERGLOW's future music and activities? Only time will tell. Will they seek a new agency or forge their own independent path?

One thing is clear: EVERGLOW's bond as a group remains strong. They are determined to continue making music for their dedicated fans. Stay tuned to Flickermusic.com for updates on EVERGLOW's journey. What are your hopes for EVERGLOW's next chapter? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
