
End of an Era: Beasley Media Group’s Kent Dunn Announces Retirement After 30+ Years
After over three decades of dedicated service, Kent Dunn, a veteran at Beasley Media Group, has announced his retirement, marking the end of a significant chapter in his career. This news signals not only a personal milestone for Dunn but also a notable shift within the radio industry.
Dunn's journey with Beasley began in 1991, and since then, he has held key leadership positions, most recently as President and Market Manager for the company's Augusta, GA, radio stations. His departure is slated for June 6th, prompting reflections on his extensive contributions and impact, with retirement his next adventure.

Throughout his career, Dunn has managed multiple markets, including Tampa-St. Petersburg and Fayetteville, N.C. He's been recognized with the "General Manager of the Year" award four times by Beasley and has also been honored as one of Radio Ink's Best Managers. His leadership and dedication have left a lasting impression on the company.
"After much thought and reflection, I've made the decision to retire and begin the next chapter of my life," Dunn stated. "Beasley Media Group has been more than just a workplace—it's been my extended family. I feel incredibly fortunate to have spent over 30 years doing what I love, with people I deeply respect and admire. It's been an absolute privilege to work with late company Founder George Beasley, and with Caroline, Brian and Bruce [Beasley] over the years."
