The momentous occasion unfolded as Jelly Roll launched into a cover of Eminem's iconic 2002 hit, 'Lose Yourself'. As the second verse approached, the stadium erupted as Eminem himself strode onto the stage, joining Jelly Roll to deliver a powerful rendition of the Oscar-winning track.

"Detroit, what up?!" Eminem shouted to the ecstatic crowd. "Make some noise for Jelly Roll! Long time, no see. I love y'all. Peace!" His cameo instantly became the highlight of the night, overshadowing even the headliner, Post Malone.

Jelly Roll, visibly overwhelmed and grateful, proclaimed, "If you can't tell, that was a childhood dream come f------ true, Detroit! This is the greatest show I've ever had in my f------ life." He also acknowledged the profound impact of Eminem's music on his life, stating that it "helped me through the darkest moments of my life."

This isn't the first time Eminem and Jelly Roll have shared the stage. They previously collaborated at the 'Sing For the Moment' event in Detroit last June, accompanied by the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. Additionally, Jelly Roll is featured on "Somebody Save Me," a track from Eminem’s latest album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce).

Post Malone's Big Ass Stadium Tour is making waves across the globe, showcasing a mix of his older hits and new country-infused material from his album 'F-1 Trillion.' The Detroit show also featured a surprise appearance from Dallas rapper BigXThaPlug, further enhancing the night's celebratory atmosphere.

Jelly Roll, who has described Detroit as his "second hometown," continues his remarkable rise in the music industry. From intimate venues like the Fillmore Detroit to headlining sets at festivals like Faster Horses, he consistently connects with audiences through his raw honesty and genre-bending performances.

Eminem's surprise appearance underscores his enduring influence and dedication to his hometown. His willingness to share the stage with rising stars like Jelly Roll solidifies his legacy as not only a rap icon but also a champion of Detroit's vibrant music scene.
