
Disneyland Celebrates 70 Years with New Anthem, Attractions, and More
Get ready to "Celebrate Happy"! Disneyland Resort is pulling out all the stops for its 70th anniversary celebration, kicking off May 16th and running through the summer of 2026. The festivities include a brand-new anthem, returning fan-favorite entertainment, themed food and merchandise, and much more. But what exactly does this milestone mean for music fans?

The celebration's soundtrack is already taking shape. Disney has announced the "Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration Album", featuring reimagined Disney classics and brand new songs. The album released May 13th, a few days before the anniversary celebration begins.
The seven-song album is available on streaming services and the Disneyland Official Playlist. The track list including well known musicians:

The anthem, "Celebrate Happy," performed by the Jonas Brothers, has already been previewed, and it's an upbeat, catchy tune that perfectly captures the celebratory spirit. It begins with whistling and a choir before the band kicks in with lyrics about putting on your dancing shoes. Get ready to hear it everywhere in the park! It will also be featured in the Celebrate Happy Cavalcade and the Tapestry of Happiness projection show on the "it’s a small world" facade.

Beyond the music, Disneyland is also bringing back fan-favorite entertainment like the "Wondrous Journeys" fireworks show and the "Paint the Night" parade. Plus, keep an eye out for limited-time food and beverage items throughout the resort.
The 70th anniversary also sees the return of the "Walt Disney – A Magical Life" show debuting in the Opera House, along with a new exhibit curated by Walt Disney Archives and The Walt Disney Family Museum.
But that's not all! New food and beverages are available, with character dining being added as well. Donald's Tales of Adventure Dinner Buffet debuted on May 16 at Storytellers Cafe featuring a campfire-style menu and Donald, Daisy and some of their friends in new explorer outfits.
