Blackbraid Announces First Headlining North American Tour in Support of ‘Blackbraid III’
Blackbraid, the rising force in indigenous black metal, is set to embark on their first-ever North American headlining tour in support of their highly anticipated full-length album, Blackbraid III, slated for release on August 8th. This marks a significant milestone for the enigmatic black metal mystic hailed for ushering in a new era of extreme music mastery since their eponymous debut in 2022.
Following the universal acclaim of Blackbraid I and Blackbraid II, fans have eagerly awaited the next chapter. Now, with the announcement of Blackbraid III, anticipation is at an all-time high. The album, featuring bewitching artwork in collaboration with Adam Burke and illustration by Adrian Baxter, promises to be among the most exciting releases of the year.
The tour will feature support from Lamp Of Murmuur and Dödsrit across most dates, with Gudsforladt stepping in for Lamp Of Murmuur on the Canadian stops. Tickets go on sale this Friday, May 16th at 10:00am local time. Make sure you set your alarms so you don't miss out on what promises to be an epic show!
Before the tour kicks off, fans attending Fire In The Mountains Festival (July 25th-27th) at the Red Eagle Campground on the Blackfeet Nation Reserve in Montana will have a unique opportunity to experience Blackbraid III in full during a special listening session and Q&A hosted by Metal Injection's Frank Godia. The festival lineup also includes performances from Wardruna, Chelsea Wolfe, Converge, and Blood Incantation.
