According to Saena, "ECHO" incorporates their "personal stories" through "difficult times", showcasing the bond they forged through shared adversity. The lyrics, like "wherever you go, I go," reflect the struggles they faced and the support they found in each other.
The group's decision to work with producer Ahn Sung-Il (SIAHN), who was involved in the original dispute with ATTRAKT, stirred controversy. However, Sio defends their choice, stating, "A lot of the stories are misled and even exaggerated." Aran praises SIAHN for his feedback and support in allowing them to actively participate in the creative process.
Despite the challenges, ablume remains focused on the future. They express gratitude to their fans for their unwavering support and patience. Saena describes their journey as "going through a long dark tunnel," with their fans being the "single beam of light" that guided them.
