In order to attend political rallies, you must be unemployed. Rev. Adeboye

The General Overseer of the Redeem Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has accused political parties of hiring crowds for their rallies.

During a church service, the cleric made a point about how many politicians usually have their rallies at the same time and draw large crowds.

Many of the attendees, according to Daddy Adeboye, as he is affectionately known, were likely hired by political parties.

When speaking to the young, Pastor Adeboye said that only unemployed people would show up at campaign rallies. He went on to wonder what would happen after the elections when there would be no one left to rent from.

“I don’t know whether you’ve noticed, but in every town, two distinct persons run for office at the same time. The reason is that most of the attendees are renters. They are mostly young.

According to the hundreds of thousands of young people I observe, you need to be unemployed to join these protests. What will happen after the elections are done and no one will be renting any more?”
