If you are a South African, resident in the country, and a big fan of the American vocal group Backstreet Boys, there is a piece of good news for you: The band is coming to South Africa as part of its DNA World Tour. So this gives y’all a chance to see them.
The concert in South Africa is pretty significant because, among others, it would be the band’s very first in the Rainbow Nation. And while tickets are not yet on sale for the concert, fans should expect them to be available from 24 February.
Big Concerts announced the tour on its verified Instagram page, letting the world know that while tickets are officially on sale from the 24th of this month, the tour itself will begin in May. The first leg of the tour will hold on May 16 at the Grand Arena, GranWest, Cape Town.
The second leg of the tour will take place three days later, on 19 May, at the SunBet Arena in Pretoria. Tickets would be available on TicketMaster.
The band, which comprises Kevin Richardson, Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, AJ McLean, and Brian Littrell, has been active since 1993 and has several projects to its name, including the eponymous album “Backstreet Boys” and “DNA.”
