Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, a fast-rising artist, has spoken candidly about his success.
In an interview with Echo Room, the contentious singer emphasized that he wasn’t renowned because of singer Olamide or dancer Poco Lee. He said that since he was highly recognized before they got in touch with him, he rose to fame on his own.
Speaking about how he met Poco Lee and Olamide, Portable said how individuals would find one another when their moment of fame has arrived. He disclosed that they communicated with him through DMS.
When discussing his journey to popularity, Portable stressed once again that nobody turned him become the person he is now. He acknowledged that God and his admirers had helped shape who he is today.
He recalled his difficult early years and said that, despite people’s praise for his fame, he never agreed with them since he lacked money, a vehicle, or the means to travel extensively.
But he can finally admit that he is famous now that he has the three and more.
