Daystar Peterson, a Canadian rapper and singer better known by his stage as Tory Lanez, was convicted guilty of shooting American rapper Megan Thee Stallion, a fellow performer.
After a contentious disagreement over Megan Thee Stallion’s love involvements and professional successes in 2020, it was claimed that Tory shot Megan Thee Stallion in the feet.
On Friday, December 23, a jury in Los Angeles convicted the rapper guilty of counts including assault with a handgun, careless discharge of a firearm, and keeping a hidden, unregistered firearm in a moving vehicle.
Megan Thee Stallion and Kelsey Harris, her former closest friend, both testified during the trial, which started on December 12; Tory Lanez did not. Tory Lanez has been detained as of right now, and his sentencing is scheduled on January 27.
