Angry Nigerians: “Don’t take her back, she will go off again.”

Popular Nigerian physician Dr. Penking has joined other irate Nigerians in criticizing Fancy Acholonu, the ex-fiancée of Alex Ekubo, for her recent public apologies.

 

Model and businesswoman Fancy Acholonu had posted on her Instagram page to end the year by trying her luck with love once again.

 

Acholonu unexpectedly canceled their August 2021 wedding after being engaged to Nollywood star Alexx Ekubo in May 2021.

 

She posted on Instagram, saying, “Hey everyone, I am writing to notify you all officially that I have dissolved my relationship and I have called off the wedding with Alex Ekubo.”

 

The model insisted that she had chosen the greatest choice for herself while acknowledging that many people would be shocked by the revelation, saying it was crucial that “everyone finds their happiness and lives in their truth.”

 

Fancy has taken a U-turn and apologized publicly to her ex-boyfriend, pleading with him to take her back, more than a year after their breakup.

 

Acholonu apologized for the pain she caused her ex-fiance and his family by publicly declaring their breakup in a statement she published on Instagram on Thursday.

 

She continued by saying that the actor still had a special place in her heart since losing him “felt like pain.”

 

“Like our shirt says, Nothing makes sense when we’re apart @alexxekubo you still have my heart,” she said beside a photo of happier times. I miss you, I love you, and I sincerely apologize for all the grief & suffering our breakup caused you and your family.

 

“How I handled the situation was out of character for me. I ought to have regulated my feelings and refrained from being so overly reacting. I spoke and acted too much. I apologize; I’ve learnt my lesson and will try to handle things differently in the future.
