"We're excited to team up with Audacy and 95.7 The Game and bring Valkyries basketball to fans everywhere," said Senior Vice President, Marketing and Communications Kimberly Veale. "Having our games broadcast live gives fans multiple ways to follow our team from day one. Radio brings a special energy to basketball – the announcers bring the game to life for listeners and create those memorable calls that fans remember for years."

Kevin Danna will serve as the radio play-by-play announcer, bringing his extensive experience from the Santa Cruz Warriors and Golden State Warriors Summer League. Sophia Jones, known for her work with Dons women’s basketball at the University of San Francisco, will serve as the color analyst.

CBS Bay Area and the Valkyries Announce TV Broadcast Team

In addition to radio coverage, the Golden State Valkyries have partnered with CBS Bay Area to bring games to local television. Games will air on KPIX (Channel 5), KPIX+ (Channel 44, Cable 12), and in Sacramento on KMAX (Channel 31) or KOVR (Channel 13).

Jacob Tobey, who also calls games for the San Antonio Spurs, will be the lead play-by-play announcer. Morgan Ragan, bringing over a decade of broadcasting experience, will serve as the color analyst. Derek Clark will handle play-by-play duties for select games.

KPIX Sports Director Vern Glenn will anchor pregame, halftime, and postgame coverage, joined by analyst Zena Keita. Studio coverage will also feature Layshia Clarendon and Matt Lively for select games.
