Bruce Dickinson Teases New Solo Album: 18 Tracks Ready for 2026 Recording!

Bruce Dickinson, the legendary frontman of Iron Maiden, is showing no signs of slowing down. Fresh off the heels of his well-received solo album, "The Mandrake Project," Dickinson has revealed exciting news for fans: he's already deep into the creation of its follow-up. Get ready for more Dickinson magic, potentially hitting your ears in 2026!

In a recent conversation as part of the Musicians Institute’s M.I. Conversation series, Dickinson shared that he and his solo band have spent the last three weeks intensely demoing new material. The result? A staggering 18 tracks in just 15 days. "It's gonna be a really cool album," he exclaimed, hinting at the quality and volume of music to come.

Dickinson also revealed that Brendan Duffey, who mixed "The Mandrake Project", will be taking on the role of producer for this new endeavor. With Duffey's expertise, Dickinson aims to capture the raw energy and emotion of the new tracks.

The current plan is to properly record the album in early 2026. Dickinson explained his schedule: "January, February, March, April is kind of a free zone for me next year." The rapid pace of this new project is a stark contrast to the long gestation of "The Mandrake Project," which had its beginnings in 2014 but was repeatedly delayed by Dickinson's throat cancer diagnosis and the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dickinson, who released his first solo album, "Tattooed Millionaire," in 1990, has consistently used his solo work as a canvas to explore musical styles outside of Iron Maiden's signature sound. With 18 new tracks in the works, it's tantalizing to imagine what sonic landscapes he'll be exploring this time around.
